Injury Prevention Guidelines The Injury Prevention Guidelines contain practical information about tennis injuries. First the nature and symptoms of the injury are described. This is followed by the recommended first aid measures. Then a gradual training programme is laid out, consisting of basic exercises and physiotherapeutic measures to regain normal function, followed by slightly more intense exercises to build up the training program, and finally by on-court exercises that enable the player to return to play. Finally, recommendations to prevent re-injury are presented.
